We've arrived in Santorini and it's basically everything we hoped for and more. Our accommodation is awesome and the massive pool and comfy sun loungers are keeping us happy.
Our room has a fridge which we've stocked with sangria (our new favourite drink), vodka, ouzo and (formerly) a nice bottle of Bordeaux wine! While the island looks amazing, our plan so far has been to do a lot of nothing, so we've enjoyed a couple of lazy days by the pool working on our tans, with the odd trip out for food (including a great pizza and Greek salad last night - so tasty!). The weather has totally turned it on for us, with steaming hot, sunny days in the mid to late 30s, it would be unbearable if it wasn't for the pool (I think I mentioned we have an awesome one here? haha)
This may be the last time you hear from us though, we're planning on taking our lives into our hands and renting a quad bike or scooter to explore the island on - that's assuming we can get enough motivation to leave the pool! There's some pretty villages to see and of course, we want to go for a swim in the sea so checking out the beaches is essential, plus we've heard there are amazing sunsets at the bottom of the island so we'll make sure we enjoy one of those.
