The highlight of our trip so far, was without a doubt the 3 days we spent in Cinque Terre. Words can´t describe how beautiful these five towns on the Italian Riveria are, so we will bore you all senseless with the 100s of photos we took when we get home!
We stayed in a great little apartment that came complete with a balcony and sea view, the perfect spot to enjoy the local wine teamed with the world´s best pesto, fresh crusty Italian bread, cherry tomotoes and plenty of the local cheese - yep, we were basically in heaven!
The weather was perfect and we even managed a swim in the crystal clear water, although the pebbly beach took some getting used to. Then there was the hiking, which was hard going in places getting between the towns, but so rewarding for the amazing sweeping views.
Yep, we didn´t want to leave and are already scheming how we can go back there.
